Get to know about us before supporting us
Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), established in 2002 under the UTAR Education Foundation, is a not-for-profit organisation. The Center for Biodiversity Research (CBR) is one of the research centers in UTAR that serves as a catalyst for biodiversity education, training and commerce by promoting multi-disciplinary research, product development and training to drive local industries towards sustainable utilisation of natural resources. The International Conference on Tropical Biodiversity 2018 (Tropical Biodiversity 2018) will be a major event of CBR in 2018 (see the conference objectives here) and we are honoured to have numerous local and overseas institutions joining us as the co-organisers (list of co-organisers here).
What is the event I am supporting for?
Tropical Biodiversity 2018 is meant for academics, researchers, students and stakeholders. In addition, we will be holding two public forums (free admission), for the school children to meet and talk to the biologists in our invitation list. In promoting the public awareness to conserve our mother nature, we will also be holding a photography contest. For more details, please click here.
