Pathogen Biology and Evolution:
Understanding the pathogenesis of Human Rhinovirus C using infectious clone.
Genetic diversity of dengue viruses and Human Rhinovirus C.

Host-Pathogen Interactions:
Identify the interacting proteins on various susceptible cells during dengue virus infection.

Drugs and Vaccines:
Screening of chemically synthesized Schiff bases, extracts of Traditional Chinese Medicinal Plants (TCM) and carica papaya leaf as potential anti-dengue drug.

Technology for Infectious Diseases:
Developing LAMP system to detect dengue virus, Human Rhinovirus and Leptospiral. Interested to explore the potential of Nucleic Acids Biosensor as point-of-care for leptospirosis.
